---------------------------- TEXLOTTO HELP FILE ------------------------------
Problem: Graph does not display all the test numbers in the bell curve or
only displays two columns of numbers for Machine three.
Answer: Until all ball sets have been ran on Machine three and all fifty
numbers have been drawn on Machine three, the graph can not display
them. For example, if the only numbers being displayed are numbers
that have come up only once or twice, then the numbers that have
come up twice will be displayed in the right column and the numbers
that have come up only once displayed in the left column. As more
data is added and all ball sets have been ran on Machine three and
all fifty numbers have been drawn on Machine three, the bell curve
will fill out.

Problem: Program stops running and displays error message.
Answer: If you are having trouble installing Texlotto and are reading this
text file using a text editor from outside the Texlotto program then
check the following:
1. Is your computer a IBM machine, IBM Clone or compatible?
2. Is your DOS version 3.0 or higher?
3. Do you have at least 512K of RAM?
4. Do you have a EGA,VGA color graphics card? Monitor can be either color
or B/W.
5. Are you running TSR's, if so, is your "FILES=" setting in your
CONFIG.SYS file set high enough to run Texlotto and the TSR's?
(normally, FILES=20 should be ok).
6. Did you run INSTALL.BAT (you can type GO to run INSTALL.BAT) to create
a Texlotto directory and copy all the Texlotto files to it?
7. Make sure that the following files are in the directory that you are
attempting to run Texlotto from:
TEXLOTTO.EXE Main program.
TEXLOTTO.DOC Documentation file.
TEXLOTTO.HLP This help file.
TEXLOGO.BMP Screen Logo for Texlotto.
PRETEST.TXT Text file of past Texas Lottery test results.
WINNGNOS.TXT Text file of past Texas Lottery win results.
ORDER.FRM Order form to order registered copy and/or files.
TEXLOTTO.ICO ICON for WINDOWS.
TEXLOTTO.ASP ASP Ombudsman statement.
8. You must either move to the directory that contains all the Texlotto
files, have it in your AUTOEXEC.BAT's PATH or if using a BATCH (.bat)
file, have it move to the directory that contains all the Texlotto files
before running Texlotto.

9. If you have met all these requirements and still receive the error
message when attempting to run Texlotto then write down the following
information:
1. Your computer's make, model and processor (such as 486/66 AT or XT).

2. RAM size and number of K bytes available for programs.

3. Type of graphics card and monitor.
___________________________________________________________________
4. Your DOS version. ____________
5. FILES=_________BUFFERS=________ in your CONFIG.SYS file.
6. Disk drives - Hard drive d:___size______floppies d:'s & sizes______
7. Which drive were you attempting to run Texlotto in?__________________
8. Did you try running Texlotto from the DOS command line by moving to
the Texlotto directory and entering Texlotto and pressing enter?
9. What error codes and addresses if any, were displayed?

10. Did the program run at all and if so, did the LOGO screen run
showing the hand holding the money? If so, were you able to change
the numbers on the balls by pressing the space bar?

11. If error occurred while program was running, which of these screens
was it running when the error occurred?
1. SHOW TEXAS LOTTO WINNING NUMBERS ON GRID CHART.
2. RUN ANALYSIS OF PAST WINNING NUMBERS.
3. VIEW DOCUMENTATION AND DATA FILES (with print option).
4. USE GRAPH TO ARRANGE NUMBERS IN BELL CURVE.
5. USE CHART TO SHOW HOW OFTEN NUMBERS HAVE COME UP.
6. QUICK PICK.
7. OVERDUE NUMBERS.
8. REGISTRATION and/or ORDER DATA UPDATE.
9. QUIT.
